Celebrate Mass at St. Esprit Cathedral. Visit the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, once the largest Christian basilica in the world. Enjoy a Bosphorus boat ride between Europe and Asia. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 — Istanbul • Troy • Canakkale (Turkey)
Mass at St. Anthony Padua Church. Travel to Alexandria-Troas, visited by St. Paul, then continue to Troy, legendary home of Helen and the Trojan Horse. Dinner and overnight in Canakkale.
Day 3 — Canakkale • Pergamum • Kusadasi (Turkey)
Visit Pergamum, one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. See the Acropolis, Altar of Zeus, Temple of Trajan, and Red Basilica. Celebrate Mass before continuing to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 — Kusadasi • House of Virgin Mary • Ephesus (Turkey)
Celebrate Mass at the House of the Virgin Mary. Explore Ephesus, where St. Paul preached and St. John is buried. Walk the marble streets of this vast Greco-Roman site. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 5 — Kusadasi • Laodicea • Hierapolis (Turkey)
Visit Laodicea, another of the Seven Churches. Celebrate Mass (subject to approval). Continue to Hierapolis, where St. Philip was martyred, and see his tomb. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6 — Kusadasi • Patmos (Greece)
Embark on your cruise. Visit Patmos, where St. John received the visions of Revelation. Celebrate Mass at St. John’s Grotto and tour the Monastery of St. John. Overnight on the ship.
Day 7 — Rhodes (Greece)
Explore Rhodes at leisure or join an optional excursion to the Monastery of Filerimos and the Citadel of the Knights. Overnight on the ship.
Day 8 — Crete • Santorini (Greece)
Morning stop in Crete with optional visit to Knossos Palace. Afternoon in Santorini, famed for its whitewashed houses and dramatic cliffs. Optional excursions available. Overnight on the ship.
Day 9 — Athens (Greece)
Disembark in Lavrion and tour Athens. Visit the Agora, Mars Hill, and the Acropolis including the Parthenon. Celebrate Mass at St. Dionysius Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
Day 10 — Corinth (Greece)
Travel to Corinth, where St. Paul lived for 18 months. Celebrate Mass at the Bema (Judgment Seat). Return to Athens. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 — Departure from Athens
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
